Professor Wang Wencheng（王汶成）

Introduction：
Prof. Wang Wencheng was born in June, 1953 in Xinwen of Shandong Province. He had been an underground coal miner for 10 years after graduated from junior high school. Then he earned his B.A, M.A and PhD degree in Department of Literature of Shandong University. He is currently a professor, tutor of doctoral students in School of Literature＆Journalism as well as Research Center for Literary Theory ＆Aesthetic. From 2002 to 2003, Prof. Wang had been a Visiting Professor of South Korea Changwon National University.

His works includeLiterature Language as Medium, New Research on Literature and Arts( co-authored), Arts Philosophy of Marx and Engels (co-authored), Autumn Moon over the Calm Lake —— Liang Shiqiu, etc. And also, he issued more than 80 papers on Literature Review, Literature and Art Studies, Research of Literature, History and Philosophy, the Journal of Humanities. Among them there have been almost 20 papers were reprinted in full text and excerpted by Xinhua Digest, Copy Data of Renmin university of China, etc.
Prof. Wang is now directing a project entitled “Research on the Typology of Literature Language”, sponsored by National Social Science Fund. Another project he is currently responsible for is “Research on the Relationship between Arts and Language”, one of important projects of Humanities and Social Sciences Research Base of Ministry of Education.
He is the editor and author of General Research in Literature and Art, which is National 11th Five-Year Plan Materials
