Brief Introduction to the Undergraduate Degree Courses

There are three undergraduate specialties in the school including Chinese Language & Literature, Journalism and Advertising, of four-year educational system. The qualified graduate students will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Literature.

Brief Introduction to the Master and Doctoral Degree Programs

The discipline of Chinese Language & Literature of the school is a first-level discipline, and the doctoral candidates are enrolled in 8 disciplines including Literary Theory, Aesthetic Culture, Literature and Art Communication, Ancient Chinese Literature, Modern & Contemporary Chinese Literature, Chinese Language & Literature, Linguistics & Applied Linguistics, and Comparative Literature & World Literature. The educational system is three years, and the qualified graduate students will be conferred the doctoral degree.

The postgraduate students are enrolled in 6 second-level disciplines under the first-level discipline of Chinese Language & Literature including Literary Theory, Ancient Chinese Literature, Modern & Contemporary Chinese Literature, Chinese Language & Literature, Linguistics & Applied Linguistics, and Comparative Literature & World Literature; and 3 specialties under the first-level discipline of Journalism including Journalism, Communications and Designing Arts (of the discipline of Arts). The educational system is three years, and the qualified graduate students will be conferred the master degree.
