Professor Wang Xiaoshu（王小舒）

Introduction:
Professor Wang Xiaoshu was born in August, 1953, in Shanghai. He had gone to the countryside to jump the queue. He graduated from Yangzhou Teachers College and got his bachelor’s degree of art. In 1987, he got the Master’s degree of art in Shandong University. He has worked in Wuxi Institute of Education. In 1993, he got his doctor’s degree of art and then he has worked in Shandong University up to now. From 1995 to 1996, he occupies the Visiting Professor’s position in South Korea Ewha Womans University. He is currently a professor in School of Literature＆Journalism, Part-time professor in Research Center for Literary Theory ＆Aesthetic, Director of the Institute of Classical Literature and Master instructor.
Major publications: the Track of Chinese Literature Spirit, Studies on the Poetry History’s Verve, Chinese Cultural History of Aesthetic (Volumes of Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties), Studies on Modern and Contemporary Chinese Traditional Poetry (coauthor), Translation of Wand Yuanchen’s Poetry (coauthor) and the Theory of Poetic Charm.
