Professor Yang Duanzhi(杨端志)
Introduction:
Professor Yang Duanzhi wan born in Heze of Shandong Province in July 21, 1949, and graduated from the Department of Chinese Language and Literature at Peking University. He has studied at Nanjing University and Beijing Normal University and he was allocated to the Department of Literature at Shandong University in August, 1976. He has been vice director and director in the Teaching and Research Section of Ancient Chinese Language since September, 1979 and then he was appointed as lecturer in October, 1985. He won the Youth Leader title in 1987 in Shandong University and Shandong Province. He was promoted as associate professor in November, 1988, and as professor in September, 1993. In December, 1998, he was entitled the doctoral mentor in the major of Chinese language learning. From March, 2000 to March, 2001, he went to South Korea Sungkyunkwan University as a visiting professor. Now he is a director and discipline leader in Chinese Language institute, the school of Literature and journalism, Shandong University; the Chinese language school discipline leader of important strengthening discipline of Shandong Province, project leader of "985" project-- "Chinese and Chinese Applied Research" project of Shandong University, member of Academic Committee at the school of Literature and journalism, the executive director of China scholium society, president of Institute of language symbols of Shandong Institute of Foreign Languages. He has come to Korean, Taiwan and Macau to give speeches and participate in conferences and has published 18 books and 50 articles
