According to the News Network of Shandong University, the result of Liu Xie Literary Criticism Prize was announced recently. 8 achievements of Literature and Journalism School (LJS) won the prize. Among the achievements, Rhetoric and Ideology by Prof. Tu Youxiang won the Monographs of Literature and Art Research Award. The Ignored Mature Ages of New Poetry—the New Poetries Created by Young Poets from 1945 to 1949 by Prof. Huang Wanhua and other 2 articles won the Articles of Literature and Art Comment Award.

Liu Xie Literary Criticism Prize of Shandong Province was set up by Shandong Provincial Committee and Shandong Provincial Government. It is important as the highest provincial literature and art prize and is selected each three years. These achievements are based on the present literature and art development, which promotes the theme of the era. They are more profound as a whole, and involve more aspects, unique views and research methods. The quality of the achievements improves obviously. The achievements represent the highest level of Shandong literary criticism these three years. At last, 54 achievements in total won the prize.
