On October 19th, Literature and Journalism School (LJS) successfully held Enterprise Humanity and Management Improvement( EHMI ) Forum. Prof. Chen Yan,the vice-chancellor of Shandong University, Prof. Wang Desheng, the party secretary of LJS and Prof. Li Haijian from Chinese Academy of Social Sciences were invited to attend the forum and made keynote speeches. More than 400 entrepreneurs and professional managers attended the forum. And the forum was chaired by Liu Yuetan, the vice president of LJS.

Some heavyweight guests were invited to attend the forum and gave keynote speeches. Prof. Chen Yan made a speech with the title of “Chinese Thinkers in the Axial Age”. His speech started from the logical relationships among the Confucianism, the Mohism, the Taoism and the Legalism. He deeply analyzed the relations between the effect and inheritance of different schools in Chinese tradition and made a systematic elaboration on the tension relationship among the Chinese traditional cultures from a unique angle. He made a painstaking investigation into the topics, generally concentrated into the questions, operated from a strategically advantageous position and then said in a kindly way and the audience burst into warm applause from time to time.

The speech title of Prof.Wang Desheng is “the Enterprise Management in the Period of Transition and Transformation”. His speech started from the enhance of the entrepreneur realm and the industrial transformation in this period and deeply analyzed the different processes of the individual realm upgrade of entrepreneurs, such as occupation,enlightenment,virtue marriage and so on. His speech explained profound theories in simple language,the audience occasionally burst into big applause.

The forum was highly evaluated by the participating entrepreneurs, a lot of people wanted to have more opportunity to study in SDU.
